We are looking for an experienced Band 5 ACT Pharmacy Technician to join a hospital-based pharmacy team in Sunderland. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and GPHC registered pharmacy technician with prior hospital or community experience.
Key Requirements:
* Must hold ACT qualification
* GPHC registration is essential
* Prior hospital or community pharmacy experience
* Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
* Act as an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) for prescriptions
* Ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medication
* Work closely with pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
* Assist in the management of medication stock and inventory
