A day in this role looks like….As a Head of Integrated Business Development at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Central Services Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:To oversee all business development activity in line with strategic plans and create an operational plan for the work of the Business Development team.To be responsible for delivering the financial target for successful bid submissions in line with the strategic plan to contribute to business development net

These primarily relate to contracts with central government, local authorities, the NHS and grant proposalsBuild a short/medium/long term pipeline of income opportunities which can, over time, diversify our income associated with our holistic support offerTo work with and advise Operational Directors on prioritising tenders, and business opportunities.To manage the Business Development team to produce tenders of excellent quality, including writing, editing, quality checking and proofing tender copies to a very high standardTo ensure that all critical deadlines for bids are met.To lead on the preparation of tender interviews, including ensuring presentations are devised and interview panels are fully preparedTo develop and maintain strong working relationships with Fundraising, Operations, HR and Head Office staff so the BD team works in co-ordination with the organisationTo work closely with the Data and Insight Team, ensuring that they have the correct processes in place to inform bids and implement new servicesTo ensure that Hestia's business development activities accurately and actively promote Hestia's brand and messaging, and integrates with Hestia's fundraising, policy and communications activitiesCultivate partnerships and maintain dialogue with relevant bodies and organisations, as agreed with the Senior Management Team, for the purpose of furthering organisational growth and identifying development opportunities.Lead horizon and market scanning for gaps and opportunities to create new interventions to underpin the recovery of our service users and build a short/medium/long term pipeline of income opportunitiesKeep abreast of all funding opportunities, analysing organisational fit and any development requirementsProvide strong leadership, management and performance monitoring of the Business Development Team.Ensure the team keeps abreast of relevant new developm
