Do you have a passion for mechanics and vehicles? Are you keen to develop your skills in a dynamic environment? We are currently looking for a Trainee HGV Mechanic to join our busy team in Blythe Bridge Depot!
As a Trainee HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing general repairs and addressing any accident damage on a fleet of 60+ HGV vehicles, ensuring they are always in top condition. While servicing and warranty repairs are managed by the manufacturer's local dealers, your role will include monitoring stock levels, maintaining a tidy workshop, and accurately reporting actions taken to the Transport Office. You'll also handle various repairs, including issues with curtains, camera systems, side rails, roofs, as well as other fleet repairs on forklift trucks, mobile sweepers, vans, and pool cars.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
Trainee HGV Mechanic Requirements:
* An interest in HGV vehicles
* Attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
* Ability to work in a team and independently
Trainee HGV Mechanic Benefits:
* Starting salary �30,000 per annum, rising to �39,000 per annum once fully trained
