What You’ll Do
As the Security Deputy Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the day-to-day security operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring high standards of security operations, compliance, and team training.
Supporting the Security Operations Manager in developing and implementing security strategies.
Motivating and guiding supervisors and officers to deliver exceptional service.
Conducting security risk assessments, audits, and training programs to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
Managing incidents, ensuring prompt reporting, and delivering root cause analyses.
Developing, updating, and implementing security plans, SOPs, and emergency procedures.
Supporting recruitment efforts and ensuring all security personnel are licensed, trained, and prepared for any eventuality.
Driving innovation in security operations to enhance overall service quality.
Representing security in client meetings and maintaining excellent client relationships.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a leader who is proactive, professional, and passionate about security. To excel in this role, you’ll need:
Security Expertise: Proven experience in security management, ideally within a corporate or manufacturing environment.
Relationship Building: Strong ability to develop and maintain client and team relationships.
Leadership Skills: Experience managing teams, training staff, and driving performance.
Crisis Management: Capability to respond to and control emergencies effectively.
Health & Safety Knowledge: A solid understanding of safety regulations and confidentiality practices.
Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
Attention to Detail: The ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate security records.
Innovative Thinking: A proactive approach to introducing security innovations and improvements.
Essential Requirements:
PSA licensing and compliance expertise.
Strong knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality standards.
Ability to write clear, accurate security reports and logs.
Desirable Skills:
Financial acumen and knowledge of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM).
Experience with reception and mailroom operations.
