Compass is not only a growth company; it is also a people-oriented company that places quality of life of its millions of consumers at the centre of its mission.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an electrical engineer to work on a new build Cadent locationThe successful post-holder will be responsible for providing electrical installations, repairs, maintenance and assistance on all associated electrical equipment to a range of customers and clients.More about the role:Primary duties will include:Perform a range of maintenance work, including for example, fire alarm testing, lamp replacement and lens cleaning, water flushing, lock maintenance and minor carpentry works.Carry out repairs, refurbishment and decoration to internal and external building fabric.Interpret and work from instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to their original trade without supervisionRemove damaged or broken glass and to reinstate new.Be able to carry out ceramic wall tile repair and replacement.Remove all fixed fixtures and fittings prior to decoration and to refix on completion.Understand fully the inter-relationship between the various maintenance trades and the wider Facilities TeamWill be required to carry duties on toilets, drainage, tiling and sinks.May be required to work overtime as and when required.
