Rehabilitation SupportWorkerPay rate: up to £16 per hour (monthly pay)Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday - 24 hour shifts (8am-8am with sleep in)We have an amazing opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their new home in Milton Keynes. They have an acquired brain injury and use a wheelchair but are making lots of physical progress. They have a great sense of humour and have lots of interests and hobbies including going out for food, going swimming and going to the gym. To make the most of trips out, we need people who are local to Milton Keynes and hold a full UK Driving License.You will need to bring an empathetic and upbeat approach to truly make a difference to this person's live and continue to support with their rehabilitation. You will also need to bring experience in the following:Brain InjuryBehaviours that can be perceived as challengingRehabilitationWhat will your shift involve?In this position, you will be providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, making sure that the individual you are supporting received attentive care that is tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include supporting them with ongoing rehabilitation, taking them to and from appointments and physiotherapy and supporting them whilst out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being.
