What we are offeringSalary of £37,944.10Permanent and full-time position37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.Site-based role at HMP/YOI Peterborough.Please see attached benefits guide for everything we have to offerYour Role as the Business Development Hub ManagerIn this role, you will support the Industries Manager in overseeing the efficient operation of industries, workshops, and land-based training areas within the establishment. You will ensure that all staff create a safe, respectful, and structured working environment for prisoners, helping them develop vocational skills that enhance their employability upon release. By implementing national policies and adapting them to local needs, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards across production, training, and employment initiatives.A crucial aspect of the role will be to manage and monitor industry performance, ensuring workshops meet production targets, income generation goals, and quality assurance requirements. You will work closely with suppliers, external partners, and internal stakeholders to drive business opportunities and ensure all contractual obligations are met. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining compliance with security, health and safety, and operational policies while also supporting staff development and training.Additionally, you will help develop employment strategies that provide real opportunities for prisoners post-release. This includes collaborating with private sector businesses, colleges, and training centres to create pathways into work. You will also be responsible for keeping industry-related IT systems updated, ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
