Band 6 - Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - �27 p/h - Essex
We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join an NHS Community Mental Health Team based in Essex . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mental health professional looking for a stable, well-structured contract within a supportive team environment.
Role Details:
* Location: Essex
* Setting: NHS, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)
* Pay Rate: �27 per hour
* Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM (Full-time)
* Contract Length: 3-6 months (potential for extension)
* Start Date: 10th February 2025
* Type: On-site, community-based role
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of patients with complex mental health needs in the community
* Conducting assessments, care planning, and risk management in line with NHS guidelines
* Providing crisis intervention and ongoing support to service users and their families
* Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams, GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
* Delivering therapeutic interventions and ensuring person-centered care
Requirements:
* Valid NMC Registration (RNMH/RNLD/RGN) is required
* Community mental health experience is essential
* Experience in caseload management is highly desirable
* A car driver with access to a vehicle is preferred , as this role involves community visits
