This young person has Angelman syndrome and epilepsy, but this does not define him. More interestingly he has a great sense of humour and loves to spend time playing games on the floor with his support staff. To make the most of trips out and about, we need people who are local to Ipswich and hold a full UK Driving Licence to use the mobility car.Enriching activities will be an important factor in the support that you and the team provide, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:- Learning Disabilities- Epilepsy- LeadershipWhat will your shift involve?In this role, you will be providing high-quality care, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing a growing team, arranging meaningful activities for the person we support, inspiring and supervising support workers, and in addition, you will be creating staff rota and maintaining care plans.
