Join our dynamic Employer Services team. We support over 700 scheme employers within the Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire Pension Funds by:


Providing guidance and support to employers on various aspects of the LGPS, ensuring compliance with regulations and assisting with scheme administration.
Conducting training sessions and workshops to educate employers about their responsibilities and the benefits of the LGPS.
Acting as a liaison between the pension fund and employers, facilitating effective communication and addressing any queries or concerns.
Monitoring risk exposure to ensure the Fund and its scheme employers are protected.
Managing the admission and exit of employers from the Fund in accordance with regulations.


As a newly created role, you'll support our team's daily activities in a diverse and fast-paced environment, ideal for a performance-focused individual. Our Employer Services team is highly varied, offering you the chance to work with a wide range of employers and gain a broad knowledge of the LGPS. This exposure will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the scheme's intricacies and the unique challenges faced by different employers.

What will you be doing?
Inbox Management: Allocate and respond to emails.
Documentation: Chase outstanding documents, handle filing and archiving.
Customer Service: Answer phone queries, ensure efficient casework allocation.
Administration: Maintain databases, assist in onboarding new employers, support event organisation, produce KPI reports, and provide general administrative support.

About youWe are looking for candidates who demonstrate:


High Attention to Detail: You should be meticulous and thorough in your work, ensuring accuracy in all tasks, from data entry to document management.
Excellent Communication Skills: You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to engage with employers and colleagues.
Effective Workload Organisation: You should be adept at managing your time and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office: You need to be skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to perform various administrative tasks.
Self-Motivation: You should be proactive and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative to solve problems and improve processes.

This is an entry-level role, so previous LGPS experience is not required. We provide comprehensive training to help you excel. You'll have opportunities for continuous professional development through workshops, mentoring, and learning resources.

We offer a hybrid work arrangement, starting with office-based training at One Angel Square, then transitioning to a mix of office and remote work.
