Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job!Asset CoordinatorLocation - ErithHours - 08:00-17:00 42 hours per weekTo provide support to the operational network through location and movement of the company assets to the correct point of hire, as driven by customer demand, either from existing fleet or through the processing of capex purchase orders.Your key accountabilities will be:Reactively locate assets based on requests sent into the AIC inboxUse AX12/D365 and relevant reporting data to assist in find the relevant assets from within the existing hire fleet.To raise capex purchase orders to replenish the existing fleet or to provide additional hire items for new demand or growth.To pro-actively ensure that orders placed have been delivered to locations and been receipted in line with company procedures – Open Order Monitoring.Communicate efficiently via emails and phone calls with workshop and depot staff.Liaise with AIC Transport Planner to ensure movement of the kit to desired location, within the specified times.To support the Asset Optimisation Manager in maintaining the daily histogram report which drives the daily replenishment program in the networkTo perform any other reasonable duties as specified by the Asset Optimisation ManagerAbility to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.What will we provide?We will provide everything you need to ensure you succeed in this role!We offer all on the job training and have dedicated product and system training teams available to support you.We are passionate about employee growth and offer tailored development programmes to suit individual needs.We pride ourselves on our ability to recognise and develop talent, which has allowed us to champion internal progression over the years.Speedy operates an industry leading Work Life Balance initiative, demonstrating our commitment to reducing core contracted hours, supporting colleague wellbeing, and identifying more balanced work patterns for our colleagues which is a huge step in realising our ambition of putting our People First.
