All produced in our state of the art, custom built, manufacturing plant in Dublin 15.We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a full time (40 hours), permanent contract to join our team in the Dublin 15 area! This is a Monday to Friday position.As a Business Development Manager, you will be an excellent communicator and financially savvy with a real passion for food.At Glanmore Foods you\'ll get every opportunity to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go above and beyond.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include:Generate new business opportunities to drive sales and profitability in line with budgetary targets.Manage all steps of the sales process confidently and competently from first appointment to site survey, proposal compilation, to presentation and following successful bids to secure signed contract and thoroughly hand over to the operational team.Initiate and foster impactful relationships within the school sector, create solutions to meet customers’ needs and convert business in a timely manner to drive sales and profitably.Management of the bidding and internal approval procedures to ensure commercially sound, competitive, and profitable financial deals.Work closely with the wider sales and marketing team at Glanmore Foods to ensure we always represent the Glanmore Foods brand with integrity.Networking within our sector and the wider industry including attending tradeshows and seminars.Build and maintain relationships with key target customers and influential stakeholders with the school sector.Carry out relevant site visits, presentations and reviews as required to secure new business opportunities.Weekly and monthly reporting on individual performance against budget targets.Assist in the delivery of monthly revenue and activity reports.Update and maintain client and prospect database, conforming with company requirements regarding IT systems and CRM policy.About You:Candidates must have a valid driving licenseA strong track record of generating sales in a B2B sales environment.Results orientated with a proven track record of high performanceExcellent organisational, time management and team working skillsAbility to influence and negotiate with others.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsDemonstrating strong commercial awareness and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.Fully computer literate - adept at using a range of software, including the Microsoft Office suite, and CRM systemsAble to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously and effectivelyEffective strategic, analytical, and decision-making skills with innovative and creative ideas3 years’ experience in a similar, client facing roleEducated to degree level qualification is desirableSome knowledge of selling contracted services within food service, retail and facilities management industries is desirable.Some of the benefits we offer:Expensed Company Car or Car Allowance with Fuel CardPerks shopping discount Card which can be used across the Island of Ireland to save at various restaurants, high street stores, hotels, day out venues, gyms, golf courses and many moreFlexible working to support work life balanceAdditional Leave Purchase scheme to balance home and work lifeVHI Healthcare discountLife assurance coverCareer Pathways to support career progression and/or skills developmentLearning & development programs available for personal and professional development & growthAccess to wellness programs to promote mental health and wellbeing of our colleaguesEmployee Assistance Program to guide and support our employeesExciting internal reward and recognition schemesAnd many more!About Us:Glanmore Foods has been in business for over 20 years.
