**Fabricator / Welder**
Location: Huddersfield
Rate: �17.00p/h-�21.00p/h DOE + Holidays / Hol Pay
Inside IR35 (PAYE)
Full-Time, Temp-Perm
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Engineer to join our Fabrication Team. You'll play a key role in manufacturing high-quality products, ensuring production meets company standards and project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate and finish products to company specifications.
* Ensure timely completion of work within project schedules.
* Coordinate and prioritize parts for production.
* Support lean manufacturing initiatives for cost efficiency.
* Participate in design-to-manufacture meetings to optimize processes.
* Contribute to QA procedures and support R&D projects.
* Maintain effective communication across teams.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong TIG welding skills, ideally working towards coded welding.
* Recognized apprenticeship/qualification in sheet metal work or fabrication.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Self-motivated with strong planning and teamwork skills.
* Awareness of equality and health & safety regulations.
Desirable:
* Experience working with thin-gauge stainless steel.
* Background in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries.
* Willingness to do site work when required.
