We are currently looking for an agile, adaptable, ambitious Compliance Supervisor to join our forward thinking, robust team operating in high volume FMCG environment, based in Hayes.
Compliance Supervisor Duties:
* Ensure a compliance training plan is implemented for all roles.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks with relevant managers.
* Collaborate on compliance issues with all stakeholders.
* Maintain and monitor compliance plans for HSE, Hygiene, and Quality management systems.
* Ensure Risk Assessments are conducted before risky tasks.
* Oversee day-to-day HSE and Hygiene operations, including inductions, safety walks, and First Aid supplies.
* Embed compliance within company values and ensure effective systems.
* Conduct site audits and safety inspections to monitor compliance.
* Coordinate environment and quality activities to optimize labor efficiency.
* Implement environmental policies and strategies to meet targets and best practices.
* Advise on environmental compliance to management and the board.
* Monitor and review business performance, ensuring adherence to standards and identifying improvements.
* Communicate effectively to meet compliance targets.
* Collaborate with site security to ensure 24/7 monitoring and role accountability.
* Manage external compliance contractors.
* Ensure timely and complete HSE documentation.
* Manage colleagues on restricted duties or long-term sick leave.
* Advise HSE Team Leader on site HSE activities and champion HSE according to brand management.
* Familiarize with statutory and company policy requirements.
* Review and ensure Health & Safety documentation aligns with company policies.
* Investigate and report all accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences, proposing preventive actions.
* Assist with HSE, compliance, and hygiene matters as needed.
Salary: �40,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 5 shifts, 10 hours.
Compliance Supervisor Requirements:
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* At least 2 years of experience in a Health and Safety focused role.
* Familiarity with the principles of chilled food manufacturing.
* Previous experience in the FMCG sector is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
