Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with an international player in the nuclear energy market recognised for its innovative solutions and technology for designing, building, maintaining, and advancing the global nuclear sector to recruit an Electrical Technician for its Cranfield manufacturing facility.
The Electrical Technician comes with a salary up to �40,000, 8% employer pension contributions, professional membership body support, and a wealth of other benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager you will:
* Assemble and install electromechanical sensors, control systems, and equipment in line with piping and instrumentation diagrams.
* Operate test rigs and fixtures to perform validation and verification tests.
* Conduct routine calibration of sensors and measuring equipment.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and identifying and replacing faulty parts.

* Electrical qualifications are not essential.
Personal skills
The Electrical Technician role would suit someone who has:
* Experience working with Control and Instrumentation test rigs, wiring and setting up sensors/control panels.
