The Role:
* This executive role is part of the leadership team in Hong Kong, driving the strategic growth of Advanced Solutions (Cloud, Digital and AI Technologies) business and services in Hong Kong.
* Lead the Advanced Solutions team (Cloud, Digital and AI Technologies), collaborating with key leaders to develop and implement the technology roadmap for major clients.
* Identify client needs, create engagement plans, and drive opportunities from inception to sale closure.
* Oversee service delivery management, application development, systems integration, and maintenance, supported by project managers and directors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor the budget, controlling costs to ensure maximum achievement of revenue and margin.
* Oversee financial metrics and related KPIs for the Advanced Solutions Team in Hong Kong.
* Provide thought leadership and perspectives on digital transformation for Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
* Identify and track market trends, emerging technologies and technology disruption so as to implement strategies and action plans for new opportunities, competition and threats in the IT industry.
* Identify addressable market opportunities for the Company and provide guidance in setting business targets.
* Shape and drive key initiatives regarding digital transformation for clients.
* Establish networks with partners and ecosystems to foster innovation and cooperation.
* Drive the co-creation of innovative solutions with internal and external partners
* Strong ability to conceptualize and actualize visionary strategies and provide leadership to defend and entrench our core business in the current intensifying competitive landscape.
* Innovatively harness latent synergies to improve competitiveness and productivity through greater offshore leverage, workforce refresh and retention as well as capability/ quality enhancement.
* Establish strong brand equity and position the Company as the market leader for service delivery
* Collaborate with HQ Advanced Solutions Team, China Innovation Centre, and other regional business teams to gain synergy.
* Board knowledge and experiences in variety of industries and job types
* Uncertainty arising from volatile market factors such as change in government policies, competitive landscape and disruptive technologies driving automation.
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage key customer management for win-win negotiations on project scope, deliverables and contractual obligations
Education and Experiences Requirements:
* Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
* At least 20 years of relevant work experience with expertise in Software Design and Development.
* Experience in Advisory and Consulting projects related to Digital Transformation, Cloud Strategy, and Data Strategy.
* Experience in people management, budget management, and team building.
* Strong customer-service orientation and ability to work well in a multicultural environment
* Technical proficiency in Reference Architecture Definition.
* Ability to conceptualize and create efficient and appropriate solutions for software development projects, considering component integration, risk mitigation, architectural principles, technology standards, and industry best practices.
* Extensive technical experience in System and Applications Architecture Design for large-scale projects.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing large teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Capability to think strategically, understand business requirements, and translate them into strategic plans and solutions.
* Ability to function under high pressure and handle crisis management effectively..
