We’re hiring for Bank Support Workers at Elm Tree Farm!We are seeking Bank Support Workers for our Animal Husbandry team at Elm Tree Farm. As a casual support worker for Brandon you play a vital role, empowering people to live an active and meaningful life and gain employment skills at their chosen enterprises here at the farm.We are looking for outgoing, active and dynamic individuals with a can-do attitude to join our team of bank workers. You will:Have experience of working in a care farm or similar support role in group basedsettings.Have hands on livestock experience including handling cattle, sheep, pigs, horses and small animals.Knowledge of farming practicesA full clean driving licenceHave good communication skillsHave a positive and patient approach and be able to build professional relationshipsBe resilient and respect people’s differences.Be a confident problem solver and creative thinker.Work well as part of a team.Your responsibilities:Support people with learning disabilities to achieve their desired outcomes.Care for the livestock and all other animals on site with confidenceSupport the team whererequired to maintain a safe working environment while promoting positive risk taking.Complete PPE checks, H&S checks, vehicle checks and tool inventories.Working collaboratively with the supported employees to identify their strengths and areas for progression.Be a champion for maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring everyone adheres to health and safety protocols.Complete identified and mandatory training.Deliver excellent customer service.Brandon Trust work alongside people of different ability so they are able to create opportunity and feel empowered to live the life they want.
