An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wastewater Project Engineer ideally with 5 years' post qualification experience with a minimum 3 years' experience in wastewater design to join a well-established engineering and environmental consultancy. As a Wastewater Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of wastewater treatment and network projects, ensuring they meet environmental regulations and client specifications.
You will be responsible for:
- Design and develop systems for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and network infrastructure.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Prepare specifications and tender documentation.
- Draft planning application submissions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clients and contractors.
- Supervise the production of drawings and other technical deliverables.
- Offer technical guidance and support throughout the projects lifecycle.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as Wastewater Project Engineer, Wastewater Design Engineer, Wastewater Process Engineer, Civil Design Engineer, Civil Engineer or in a similar role.
- Ideally have 5 years' post qualification experience with a minimum 3 years' experience in wastewater design.
- Third-level engineering qualification (minimum Level 8).
- Experience in Treatment Process Design, Water Network Design or Network Modelling (water or wastewater) would be beneficial.
