In this role you will be supporting the Hotel Operations Director to deliver a first-class hotel operation to our Guest. You’ll be integral to ensuring that each and every one of our guest experience the Saga high standards of quality and service that they’ve come to expect from us. You’ll be responsible for planning, implementing and supervising our high-quality standards and making sure that we retain our reputation for providing the best F & B service onboard our Boutique cruise ships. The ideal candidate will need to have a ‘hands on’ and ‘make it happen’ approach and will be passionate about the Saga brand.We work in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office. Someone who is passionate about high level service and fine dining experiences. Have a natural leadership style that inspires and motivates a remote workforce. Candidates will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience from their career so far:A talented senior manager, with a proven track record of working in the Hotel/Food and Beverage section.A proven track record of working in the Health and Hygiene/ Environmental management.Demonstrable experience in budget management.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Externally referenced and focussed on continuously seeking professional development – to ensure that Saga’s approach to Health and Hygiene both relevant and future proof.Project management experience preferred.Demonstrable experience at developing business proposals and presenting at a senior level. Strong commerciality and business acumen.Hands on Training background.Audit experience.Excellent communication and negotiation skillsDemonstrable IT proficiency (MXP preferred, Microsoft Office essential)Education and Qualifications:Relevant business-related degree preferred, or qualified by experience.
