We’re looking for two Business Project Managers to join learning disability charity Brandon Trust. These positions are dedicated to the transformation of existing business and the growth of new business through projects which include sourcing and developing accommodation. This will support the growth of localities and build capacity and resilience in the geographical areas where Brandon Trust provides support.Based at designated offices across areas, Draycott House and remotely from home. The post holders will be required to travel and work across areas as required.The positions are full-time :-1 x Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months to cover maternity cover1 x Permanent ContractWe require all candidates to hold a full UK driving licence.PurposeThe post holders will work alongside the Business Development Manager across Brandon’s areas as required to establish accommodation projects already identified and agreed with the Area Manager and relevant Commissioner. The post holders will also lead on or contribute to in-Area transformation projects and contribute as required to large scale service transfers resulting from successful tenders. The post will focus on implementation of essential project planning stages to meet key business and compliance objectives related to setting up new services/projects.Reporting to and line managed by the Business Development Manager,you will be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships including, people we support, families, key professionals, commissioners, development partners and compliance officers. Following the successful implementation and completion of each project you will be responsible for the successful transition of completed projects to the area team.About the roleMonitor local authorities' commissioning intentions and establish key relationships for project delivery. Ensure effective communication across support and operational functions. Engage with individuals with learning disabilities, their families, and advocates regarding Brandon services. Identify business opportunities and inform the BDM/Area Manager. You will contribute to and/or lead the compilation and submission of competitive bid submissions through various procurement portals for new contracts/business. Ensure that all support and operational functions are effectively communicated with in regard of progressing projects. Contribute to the general Housing and Support opportunities for people supported by Brandon Trust and people referred to the Trust for support. Support housing and service development, assisting Locality Managers in planning, develop current and new services, and implementation ensuring service delivery. Manage service developments, ensuring smooth transitions. Maximise participation of people we support in service planning. You’ll lead on or contribute to area transformation projects, large-scale service transfers, and compliance-focused project planning. Maintain strong links with Brandon Trust support services and Trust-wide business initiatives. You’ll focus on the implementation of essential project planning stages to meet key business and compliance objectives related to setting up new services/projects.About youYou’ll have a successful track record in change management, with programme and project management and delivery including experience in managing accommodation development and specifications negotiations with a track record of successful delivery. Ideally, you’ll have operational experience in a social care setting. You'll be confident interacting effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including senior managers, trustees, commissioners, people we support and their families, delivering updates on the projects and managing expectations. Working independently and within a team is key to this role to ensure smooth delivery of contracts/projects. You’ll welcome the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people we support and new customers.
