Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading global provider of environmental solutions a to recruit a Planning Engineer on a 12 month contract for its North East site.
The Planning Engineer role comes with �400-�450 per day.
Key skills
* Develop, maintain, and update outage schedules for FGT and boiler maintenance using MS Projects.
* Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and site teams to ensure alignment with the outage plan.
* Identify critical path activities, potential delays, and develop mitigation strategies.
* Monitor progress, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
* Support risk management and contingency planning efforts.
* Analyse historical data to improve future outage planning efficiency.
