Sodexo is seeking an experienced Senior Mess Supervisor at Henry Tri Sgt's Mess, Larkhill Garrison, SP4 8QT to oversee the daily operations of the Mess, ensuring high service standards, efficient catering functions, and strong client relationships. You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and supporting business growth.What you’ll do:Supervise and coordinate daily Mess activities, ensuring service excellence.Plan, support, and oversee catering functions, menu planning, and costing.Maintain client and customer relationships, responding effectively to feedback.Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and contractual terms.Manage health & safety (H&S) and food safety (FS) standards to required levels.Drive service growth and budget performance while maintaining financial control.Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring strong engagement and performance management.Support business growth initiatives, promotions, and marketing activities.Ensure security of company and client assets and take action on incidents or irregularities.Attend meetings, team briefings, and performance development reviews (PDRs).Be available for on-call duties for absence/weekend cover as required.What you bring:Experience in a supervisory role within the soft FM service industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.People management experience, including HR skills in recruitment, training, and employee performance management (disciplinary and grievance procedures).Excellent numerical, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).Knowledge of health & safety and food safety regulations in a leadership capacity.Independent decision-making ability with a proactive approach.Ability to work on own initiative within a team environment.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and implement innovative solutions.What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
