A Day in the Life of an Aseptic Pharmacy Technician: As an Aseptic Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in the successful operation of the new aseptic unit, contributing to the validation and qualification of cutting-edge equipment, such as automated PN compounders, VHP gassing isolators, and VHP chambers. Your core responsibilities include: - Participating in the execution of equipment validation for new systems in the aseptic unit. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines in aseptic compounding. - Assisting with the qualification of automated PN compounders and other equipment. - Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of aseptic equipment. - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain a safe and efficient environment. - Documenting all validation processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications: - Pharmacy Technician qualification and valid registration. - Proven experience in aseptic compounding and equipment validation. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. - Ability to troubleshoot and ensure the functionality of aseptic equipment. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team. - Prior experience in a sterile compounding or aseptic environment is highly desirable.
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, between 9am and 8pm. The contract will start in March with the possibility of extension based on performance.
