We are seeking an experienced and strategic Contract Director to oversee a multi-activity contract worth over £40 million. This role involves leading a workforce of approximately 1,200 employees and ensuring the effective delivery of soft FM, catering, retail, and leisure services. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, financial performance, and compliance while fostering strong relationships with key Defence stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a large-scale contract and workforce.Drive operational efficiency and financial success.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and senior Defence personnel.Ensure compliance with statutory, company, and safety regulations.Deliver strategic account management, focusing on financial growth and sustainability.Promote employee engagement, leadership development, and talent retention.Manage contractual changes and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.What you bring:Proven leadership in managing large-scale contracts (£40M+ turnover).Extensive experience in Defence sector operations, ideally within FM/Catering/Retail/Leisure.Strong commercial acumen with a track record in financial management and P&L oversight.Demonstrated success in leading and motivating large teams (1,000+ employees).Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.High-level strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.Knowledge of contract management, governance, and compliance within complex environments.What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
