A Day in the Life of an ACT Pharmacy Technician:
- Dispensing medications and offering clinical support to patients. - Accuracy Checking of dispensed medications to ensure they meet all required standards. - Ensuring accurate medication management in line with relevant protocols. - Collaborating with healthcare professionals and providing advice on medication-related concerns. - Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory pharmacy practices. - Supporting a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Essential:
Qualified Pharmacy Technician with accredited ACT qualification.
Experience working in community or hospital pharmacy settings.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Accuracy Checking experience (with a valid Accuracy Checking qualification).
- Desirable:
Experience working within the NHS or similar healthcare settings.
Knowledge of current pharmacy practices and medication management.
Working Hours & Contract Duration: 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Available immediately. The contract is ongoing with the potential for extension based on performance and service requirements.
