As a Production Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our plant and equipment operate at peak efficiency. You will respond promptly to breakdowns and complete work orders efficiently, support continuous improvement initiatives, conduct planned maintenance tasks, and ensure accurate documentation of all work while complying with safety and hygiene standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support training initiatives to empower our operators with essential maintenance skills.
Hours of Work: Full-time, hours to be discussed.
Production Engineer Requirements:
* HND/HNC preferred or NVQ/C&G in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Proven experience in an operations background with strong fault-finding skills
* Technical expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
* Proficient in PLC & automation, instrumentation installation, and calibration
* Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety standards (COSHH, Manual Handling, etc.)
