Turning over �27 million and employing over 120 staff at their 150,000 sq. ft site in Kidderminster they are looking to add a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to their experienced and successful design department. As s Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with industry experts on exciting projects, product development, and prototyping. This will be an excellent role for Mechanical Design Engineer with 2-3 years'+ experience and is looking to develop their career with a well-established business.
The Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial part producing the best design solutions for new and ongoing projects using AutoCAD and Solid Works.
Some of the duties of a Mechanical Design Engineer will be to:
* Produce 3D modelling for components and assemblies.
* Produce 2D drawings for manufacturing and assembling products.
* Be involved in prototyping manufacturing and testing.
* Carry out engineering calculations.
* Prepare product manuals with technical details.
* Attend client sites when required.
The Candidate:
The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have a passion for design and engineering, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team and as an individual.
To be successful in your application for the Mechanical Design Engineer role you will need:
* CAD software experience in both 2D and 3D.
* Enthusiasm and passion for engineering.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt.
* A mechanical engineering qualification.
