An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Envelope Designer with current experience working in the industry to join a well-established construction firm. This role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £45,000 - £55,000.
As a Building Envelope Designer, you will be responsible for Producing precise, detailed layout drawings for roofing, cladding, and rainscreen systems.
You will be responsible for:
- Compiling comprehensive material schedules.
- Leading projects from design through to construction, collaborating closely with architects and contractors.
- Supervising junior team members when taking the lead on larger projects.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Building Envelope Designer, Cladding Designer, Flooring Designer, Facade Designer or in a similar role.
- Current experience working in the construction industry.
- Experience in AutoCAD.
- Skilled in building envelope design (roofing, cladding, rainscreen).
- Knowledge of BIM and ISO19650 standards would be beneficial.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
