What You'll Be Doing: Join our team as a Band 8a Pharmacist / Manager and play a key role in improving patient care within an NHS Trust. In this role, you will: - Provide pharmacy services for the rehab ward, ensuring high-quality patient care - Supervise and support pre-registration pharmacists, providing guidance and mentorship - Undertake management duties including team coordination and ensuring efficient workflow - Manage office-based administrative work related to pharmacy services - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and medication management - Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, regulations, and best practices
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: - A qualified pharmacist with valid GPhC registration - Previous experience in pharmacy management or a similar supervisory role - Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment, preferably with rehabilitation wards - Strong communication and leadership skills - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - Organisational skills with attention to detail
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 9am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break). The contract is for 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
