Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Development and Alumni, the Marketing and Communications Officer will support the creation and implementation of marketing and communication strategies and tactical campaigns, to meet agreed whole School objectives and promoting Ewell Castle School as a leading co-educational independent day school offering nursery to sixth form. This will include the production of digital, print, video and outdoor marketing communications and collateral such as the annual School magazine, end of term reviews, school handbooks, social media and press releases. The role will provide support for and attendance at School open events and other marketing, development and alumni events organised by the Director of Marketing, Development and Alumni.The role will assist with advertising, PR, photography (booking external photographers & taking photos), video content (including YouTube), School website content creation, and assisting with a variety of surveys. The Marketing and Communications Officer will also act as Ewell Castle School brand guardian, jointly overseeing the School’s internal and external branding and image.This role is 30 hours per week for 40 weeks a year. A job share would be considered, we could also facilitate a ‘school hours’ role of 9:00-3:00pm for the right candidate.Potential candidates will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, experience of working in a busy environment and the ability to work flexibly within a team with changing priorities.
