Your Key Responsibilities
?? Administer chemotherapy treatments safely and effectively. ?? Monitor patient responses to treatment and manage side effects. ?? Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families. ?? Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary team. ?? Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records . ?? Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols . ?? Stay updated on new chemotherapy drugs and best practices .
What You Need to Succeed
Registered Nurse (NMC Registered) with a valid PIN. Proven Chemotherapy Nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting (essential). Chemotherapy qualification (SACT Passport / UKONS Certificate preferred) . Strong knowledge of oncology treatments, side effect management, and patient care . Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills . Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and supportive in high-pressure situations.
