Job Title: Pharmacist - Oncology (Band 7-8b)
Location: NHS Hospital - Devon
Duration: Ongoing (March 2025 Start)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour break)
Start Date: March 2025
Rate of Pay: Band 7 to Band 8b depending on experience, �27-45ph (Rates for Band 8b offered for 8a pharmacists)

A Day in the Life of a Pharmacist - Oncology:
Join the team as a Pharmacist - Oncology and make a significant difference in the lives of cancer patients. Your core responsibilities will include:
Verifying and dispensing chemotherapy IV and oral medications.
Collaborating with oncologists and nursing staff for patient care.
Ensuring the safe administration of oncology treatments.
Monitoring and reviewing patients' medication regimens.
Offering expert advice on cancer medications and treatment protocols.
Keeping up-to-date with oncology pharmacy guidelines and best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience in Oncology Pharmacy .
Current and valid GPhC registration (or relevant governing body registration).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a full-time position, with a work schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM , including a 1-hour lunch break . The contract starts in March 2025 , with strong potential for extension.
