Job Title: Acute Medical Occupational Therapist (Band 6/7)
Location: Birmingham
Duration: Ongoing contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: �32 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as an Acute Medical Occupational Therapist and play a key role in supporting patients with a variety of complex medical conditions . In this role, you will:
Conduct comprehensive functional assessments in an acute setting
Develop and implement patient-centred rehabilitation plans
Facilitate safe and timely hospital discharges
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, and discharge coordinators
Provide mobility and equipment assessments
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements & Qualifications:
HCPC registration
Experience working in an acute medical setting
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
