A specialist school a short way from Horsham is now looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the team.
This school is dedicated to offering a specially-tailored, bright and fun learning environment for children and young people (aged 3-19 years old) with a broad range of needs - including neuro-motor, medical, sensory and SLCN - to thrive in their academic, physical and social-emotional skill development.
Through an adapted, structured curriculum and tandem therapeutic support, the school encourages its pupils to build on their creativity, confidence, and breadth of knowledge in a focused and inclusive manner.
You'll join a strong trans-disciplinary team that comes together to deliver personalised therapies, provide intensive support, and foster a safe atmosphere for pupils across a diverse range of presentations to challenge themselves and succeed.
In doing so, you will help pupils to feel valued, to feel more confident in themselves, and to experience greater and greater independence as they grow.
This is a permanent, full-time (37.5h) role for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist.
Person specification:
* ( Essential ) HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
* ( Essential ) Professional experience delivering therapies for children and young people
* ( Desirable ) Professional experience with a range of SEN, ideally including neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy
* ( Desirable ) Professional experience within a school / educational setting
