Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a global leader in renewable energy to recruit a Plant/Site Operator for their brand new state-of-the-art anaerobic digestion plant near Market Rasen.
The Plant/Site Operator will play a vital role in ensuring the day to day running of the renewable energy plant and comes with a salary of �30,000, bonus, life assurance and other company benefits.
We would be keen to hear from candidates with agricultural experience or Ex-Military with mechanical skills

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Site Manager you will:
* Carrying out the day-to-day operations of the anaerobic digestion plant
* Using the SCADA control systems to monitor the process
* Working Monday – Friday and be part of a weekend rota
* Carrying out basic first line maintenance
* Feeding fuel into the process using mobile plant such as a telehandler
* Responding to machine and systems failures once trained
* General site housekeeping, keeping it clean and tidy
* Ensuring adherence with health & safety
* Other duties as required
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential
* Telehandler licence (desired but not essential as training can be provided)
Personal skills
The Plant/Site Operator role would suit someone who has:
* Experience working in anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environment.
* Living within 30-35 minutes maximum of the site
* Experience operating mobile plant such as a telehandler or loading shovel
* Experience carrying out first line maintenance on processing plant such as pumps & conveyers would be an advantage
* Knowledge of SCADA or DCS would be an advantage
* Hard working and happy to work outside in an agricultural environment
