What You'll Be Doing
Lead on the provision of social work services within a multidisciplinary mental health team.
Practice as an AMHP, undertaking assessments under the Mental Health Act.
Undertake Care Act assessments and develop risk management plans.
Supervise and support other social workers, developing practice and ensuring high standards of care.
Work collaboratively with partners, service users, carers, and clinicians to deliver effective, holistic services.
Deliver services in line with legislation, ensuring a 24/7 support model for those in need.
What You Need to Bring
Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Health Act 1983.
AMHP qualification and registration.
A proactive, independent approach to social work practice.
Experience with complex cases and crisis management.
Exceptional communication skills, especially in challenging or sensitive environments.
Working Hours & Contract Duration
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
3-6 months ongoing contract, starting ASAP.
