An exciting opportunity has arisenfor a Car Mechanic / Restoration Technician with 3 years of experience to join a well-established vehicle repair centre. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.
As a Car Mechanic / Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out general vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
You will be responsible for:
- Stripping down and reassembling vehicles, including cataloguing and refurbishing parts.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and performing necessary repairs.
- Managing projects independently, including producing parts lists and maintaining detailed job records.
- Applying corrosion protection and underbody coatings to vehicles.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Car Mechanic, Restoration Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Car Technician or in a similar role.
- At least 3 years' experience in automotive industry.
- Proven experience in classic car service, repairs, and restoration.
- Background with vehicle interior and exterior trim stripping and fitting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fault diagnosis and electrical repairs.
- A full UK driving licence.
