This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Multi Skilled Operatives to join our packed products business based at Tunstead Cement Plant in Buxton, Derbyshire.The successful candidatewill work as part of a shift team operating in a fast-paced automated environment, your duties will be split up between the warehouse and production areas. You will be heavily involved within the heart of operations which consist of loading vehicles, four high-tech fast paced automated packing lines, carrying out risk assessments, fault finding, reporting, carrying out first level maintenance and inspections, and assisting the maintenance team with repairs.As an Multi Skilled Operative you will work as part of a team to meet the safety, production, and financial targets for the site. All activities are to be undertaken in accordance with Tarmac’s Safety Management Systems, as well as site systems, policies, and procedures.Operating of all production equipmentCarrying out daily production inspections and reporting.Work with management, in the development and implementation of SHE policies and procedures with the aim of maintaining safety standards and eliminate safety and environmental incidents.Work with other team members to support continuous improvements.Able to demonstrate experience in the following:Working with safety systems & proceduresOperating an automated production line would be advantageousWorking within a team is essentialOperating Linde H70 Fork trucksFLT License or proof of training would be advantageous and safety passport would be advantageous
