Find your future!Sodexo is seeking a Technical Facilities Manager in Fife to join our team.We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and dynamic individual to contribute to the smooth operation at our prestigious site.You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way!Purpose of the Job:The Technical Services Manager will oversee the service delivery of technical services across designated sites, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The role will involve managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and reactive works, while ensuring that all mandatory and statutory tasks are completed. Additional responsibilities include subcontractor management and providing technical advice to the wider team, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety standards.Main Responsibilities:Service Management: Deliver technical services to the highest standard, ensuring that KPIs, SLAs, and PPMs are consistently met and exceeded.Contractual Compliance: Manage all reactive works, ensuring compliance with statutory, mandatory, and SFG20 standards.Health & Safety: Oversee ongoing proactive management of risks to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.Risk Management: Maintain and manage a risk register to monitor, manage, and mitigate risks across the site(s).Client Relationship: Liaise with clients’ engineering and assurance teams to coordinate work orders and maintain strong client relationships.Cost Control: Evaluate financial performance and work with the Account Support Manager to improve profitability. Prepare costings and submit Variation Orders for scope changes, reactive, and project works.Innovation & Efficiency: Identify opportunities for cost savings and innovative solutions.Team Leadership: Manage a team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring high levels of performance and service excellence.Compliance Management: Ensure all work complies with statutory, mandatory, and client-specific health and safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permits.Key Issues and Challenges:Cost Savings & Environmental Initiatives: Focus on identifying opportunities to reduce costs while promoting environmental sustainability.Client Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, working to build long-term relationships and achieve retention.Multiple Stakeholders: Collaborate with various client stakeholders across the cluster, engaging in both face-to-face and virtual meetings.Policy Adherence: Maintain a strong understanding and adherence to Sodexo and client policies, including HR and health & safety policies.Contract Management: Ensure the effective management of contracts, scopes of work, and service delivery.Accountabilities:Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all client needs are met with the highest level of service delivery.Team Spirit: Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and statutory regulations are followed.Service Delivery: Provide continuous high-quality services that meet or exceed client expectations.Issue Resolution: Act promptly to resolve any complaints or service failures.Dimensions:Site Activity: Oversee a busy site with regular meetings and coordination with various teams.Team Management: Manage onsite fixed handyman and mobile engineers to handle reactive works and maintenance.Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact between multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.System Management: Administer and coordinate the use of CAFM systems for work orders and service management.Essential Qualifications & Experience:Health & Safety Qualifications: IOSH/NEBOSH Certificate in Managing Safely.Industry Experience: Proven track record in Technical Services Management and building asset operations within a complex environment.Trade Qualification: Minimum City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline, or equivalent.Legislative Knowledge: Practical understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety, and general legislative requirements.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CAFM systems.People Management: Experience managing employees within a service environment and optimizing team performance.Organizational Skills: Strong planning and organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities under pressure.Driving License: Clean, valid driving license.Desirable Qualifications & Experience:Facilities Management Qualification: Professional qualification in Facilities Management or equivalent.Specialized Knowledge: Experience in Legionella Water Quality Management and/or Asbestos Management.Additional Skills: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and cost-saving initiatives in facilities management.Package DescriptionTechnical Facilities Manager40 Hours per week£42,000 - £44,000 DOE + Sodexo BenefitsAbout The CompanyAbout SodexoAt Sodexo, our purpose is to create a better every day for everyone to build a better life for all.
