We are excited to be recruiting for a Sous Chef to work at Estee Lauder.Location: LondonRate of pay: Up to £38,000 per annumWorking pattern: Monday to Friday 7.00 - 15.30 with overtime at time and a halfKey responsibilities:To prepare and, where necessary, serve all food to the highest standard for a high volume high quality staff dining outlet serving up to 400 customers for lunch on peak days with the main course section preparing up to 300 portionsRotation between the hospitality, main course and cold sections with the rest of the kitchen team.To deputise in the Head Chef’s absence overseeing a team of two Chef de parties and two kitchen porters.To assist the Head Chef in developing and planning menus that are in line with client and customer expectations at the relevant CH&CO site.Contribute to the achievement of all budgetary targetsTo produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customersTo ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus being prepared and where necessary identify shortages and instigate action to source ingredientsTo assist in developing and producing new service styles and food conceptsWhat\'s in it for you?Working with Vacherin has its perks!
