As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for planning routes for a large fleet, ensuring we meet our customer requirements while adhering to all relevant regulations. You will monitor driver performance, maintain accurate records of transport activities, and coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve any issues. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for process improvements while also assisting with all transport-related tasks, including comprehensive driver debriefs and reporting to the Transport Manager.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, with flexible shifts available: 11:00am - 8:00pm or 12:00pm - 9:00pm
Transport Planner Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
* Working knowledge of relevant regulations such as EU tachograph requirements and Working Time regulations
* Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in transportation management software is advantageous but not essential
