Senior Mental Health Practitioner - Band 6 - Perinatal Mental Health Team, York
Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are supporting the AMH NYYS YS Perinatal Mental Health Team at Huntington House, York, in their search for a Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hybrid role, providing specialist mental health support to individuals within the perinatal period.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Providing high-quality mental health care to individuals experiencing perinatal mental health difficulties.
* Conducting assessments, formulating care plans, and implementing interventions.
* Managing risk and safeguarding concerns to ensure patient safety.
* Working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
* Offering psychological support and advice to service users and their families.
* Maintaining accurate records and adhering to professional standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with valid professional registration.
* Minimum Band 6 experience.
* Experience in Perinatal Mental Health or Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) is preferable.
* Strong assessment, risk management, and clinical decision-making skills.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
* Start Date: ASAP - 4 weeks
* Contract Duration: 3-6 months ongoing
* Working Pattern: Hybrid, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Hourly Rate: �25.78 - �26.01
