Healthy outcomes start with positive patient experiences.The role involves managing the SharePoint system with external contractor maintenance records and ensuring follow-up tasks are monitored by the site management team. It includes planning Reactive/PPM activities for engineers through the CAFM tool, supervising the Hard FM Helpdesk for compliance, and reducing system failures. The role also entails auditing monthly CAFM checks, reviewing PPM activities against the maintenance plan, and producing reports to track engineer productivity and efficiency against KPIs. Responsible for daily operations within the Hard FM Estates Department, the role ensures compliance with Sodexo objectives and legislative requirements, while supporting innovation and modernisation to meet performance targets. The post holder provides professional advice on technical matters, offers out-of-hours support, and generates reports to monitor engineer performance and track equipment issues for senior management.What you'll do:Assist Senior Management with the preparation and delivery of 5-year, annual, and monthly maintenance plans.Ensure services comply with Project Agreement, legislative, statutory, and HTM requirements.Contribute to commercial management, including performance monitoring and ensuring contract and commercial compliance.Deliver cost-effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with project agreements and schedules.Manage reactive maintenance services during normal and out-of-hours operations, including shift team management and call-out system participation.Oversee day-to-day commercial management in line with contractual requirements and Sodexo procedures, including budgeting with Senior Management.Represent the contract commercially and technically at meetings and within the Management team.Maintain communication with Trust managers, develop relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff, and utilize IT systems like CAFM for data monitoring and reporting.What you bring: Proven experience in a similar engineering role.Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach.Effective in high-pressure environments.Skilled in report writing.Willingness to attend both external and internal training courses.Solid understanding of Health and Safety at Work regulations.NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.Proficient in computer use, with knowledge of building management systems preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a solid foundation in mathematics.Capable of maintaining composure and responding logically under pressure while recognising urgency.Desirable:Previous experience in a healthcare setting.Experience working with Hard FM teams across multiple trades.Specialised knowledge relevant to the healthcare industry.Familiarity with SharePoint and CAFM systems is a plus.What we offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
