Shirley Parsons are thrilled to partner with a leading expert in the world of Occupational Hygiene who provide consultancy & advisory services as well as forensic analysis. Our client operates at the very pinnacle of the field working on some of the most dynamic and interesting projects in the UK. Due to an ever-increasing caseload, they are looking for an Occupational Hygienist to join the company. You will work closely with an experienced Partner who will mentor and further develop your consulting skills in the first year and ultimately lead to full autonomy and your own selection of clients.
We are seeking an Occupational Hygienist/Industrial Hygienist with a minimum of 5-6 years Hygiene experience ideally from a consultancy or advisory provider who has a strong understanding of UK hygiene legislation, the ability to convey clear and concise technical messaging and understands the client/service provider dynamic. Strong report writing skills and analytical thinking is advantageous. Degree qualified in either occupational hygiene or Science/Chemistry or a similar subject is preferred. Any knowledge or accreditation around BOHS standards would be welcome, but not essential.
For an initial period there will be a commute into the West Midlands office of 1-2 days a week, otherwise hybrid/working from home, with the occasional requirement to travel to sites. Beyond the initial period there will be a reduced requirement to commute. Earnings potential in the medium term is substantial and there is also a career pathway to Partner.
Professional fees paid, and support to achieve Chartered status.
