Overview of Responsibilities:- Support in the delivery of creating 8000 desserts per event- Preparing delicious desserts for other Compass sites- Opportunity to work alongside exceptional VIP chef partnerships throughout the events season in our private members club- Working towards introducing more plant-based desserts to reduce our carbon footprint and emissions- Ensuring the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy before and during service- Follow all recipes provided to ensure full compliance of nutritional/dietary compliance- Abide by Health and Safety Regulations and Food Safety Standards- Follow all waste control procedures using the Food Production Process (FPP) guidelinesWorking Hours:Hours will very event to event, approximate shift length is between 7-8 hours – if successful there will be opportunities to work extra days in the week and hours will vary.Pay RangeCandidate Specifications- Passion for working with fresh ingredients and enjoy creating exquisite dishes.- Basic Food Hygiene/level 2- A thirst for knowledge- Appetite for a busy working environment- Provide the highest level of customer service, by role modelling the Levy UK values and behaviours at all times to colleagues, customers, clients.- Excellent communication amongst all stakeholders in the business.- Remaining calm under pressure to ensure smooth deliver in service.- Be flexible and comply with any reasonable requests made by your line manager, including if necessary, working within other units of the venue- Allergen knowledgeIf the above sounds like you and have the willingness to begin a culinary journey in the pastry department.
