* Location: Manchester
* Duration: 6 month ongoing
* Schedule: Monday to Sunday ( 8am to 8pm, 8am to 4pm or 12pm to 8pm )

* End Date: August 2025
* Rate of Pay: �26 per hour for Days, �31 per hour for Saturdays/Nights and �36 per hour for Sundays/Bank Holidays

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a CPN and play a key role in improving the lives of Mental Health patients. In this role, you will:
* This role is as a band 6 Mental Health Practitioner within the CAMHS Crisis team working alongside senior clinical staff you will respond rapidly to requests for assistance when a young person is presenting in crisis.
* You will contribute to the assessment and management of young people experiencing episodes of crisis within a clear and structured Risk Assessment and Risk Reduction framework and identify therapeutic goals to support the young person and families/carers. You will refer on to specialist in-patient services as necessary or work collaboratively with other services involved to reduce the need for inpatient care.
* You will develop holistic, safety and recovery focused care plans and mobilise support around the child and family to promote
* resilience and reduce the likelihood of future crisis episodes.
* As a member of the multi-disciplinary team the service will intensively support young people and families under a number of different pathways including an inreach and assessment model where a young person has been admitted to a paediatric ward, rapid intervention on 72 hour care pathways and longer term intervention on 4-6 week care pathways.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* a current and valid NMC registration and pin
* experience working with Mental Health patients
* strong communication and interpersonal skills
* the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday to Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
