What is the job role?We are looking for a passionate and flexible person with extensive experience of working and supporting refugees and newly arrived communities into work. The successful person will be able to demonstrate how they have enabled individuals from this cohort to successfully access employment opportunities. You will have experience of working with local employers to assist them to recruit locally focusing on the migrant and refugee community. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop a professional, long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with local employers and Migration Team partners to ensure maximum promotion of opportunities to refugees and migrants. You will need to be a self-starter with the ability to engage and motivate people; have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and strong negotiating skills and account management experience. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
