This role can be on a hybrid basis, with an expectation of being in the office around 2 days per week.Reporting to the ED3 Policy Managerand supporting the wider NGED Regulation Team, as a Team Support you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of projects under the ED3 business plan programme.Ensuring that planned results are delivered by:Providing support to coordinate the drafting and submission of the ED3 business plan.Providing support to coordinate the drafting and submission of responses to Ofgem consultations and requests.Contribute to the delivery of reporting activities where relevant.You will need English and Maths GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above OR Functional Skills Level 2 or above to apply. Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.Depending on experience, you may initially be appointed at a lower salary until all relevant courses and training are complete.Main ResponsibilitiesProvide timely, consistent and accurate reporting of the status of assigned working groups against the ED3 programme.Work with the ED3 Regulatory Leads to scope, plan and deliver workstream outputs in collaboration with business leads, SMEs, members of the NGED Regulatory team and third parties.Provide administrative support, including liaising with PAs and SMEs to arrange meetings relating to ED3 development.Help to prepare presentation packs and other materials required by the workstreams.Keep up to date relevant documentation, including recording of minutes and maintaining logs (i.e., meeting actions, escalations, and cross-overs with other workstreams).Follow up of outstanding actions, escalations and cross-over activities where necessary.Aid in quality assurance, including the collation of data assurance forms for submissions and set up of enduring tracking and monitoring of performance.Tracking and monitoring of changes to relevant Ofgem templates, documents or guidance.Assist in the coordination, development and submission of responses to Ofgem requests, consultation documents and other processes.Undertake additional ad hoc work as and when required to meet the needs of the team and wider business.Provide support to the wider Regulatory team, as required.Candidate RequirementsWe are seeking a proactive and self-motivated individual to join our team.The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst adapting to the evolving nature of tasks in a regulatory environment.You’ll have experience of delivering projects successfully, ensuring planned outcomes are achieved and experience working in programme environments and matrix organisations.You’ll also have strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. You’ll be an organised, proactive team player with the ability to communicate effectively.As well as being proficient in collaborative tools like MS Teams and SharePoint, and a high level of computer expertise with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Knowledge of the electricity distribution sector’s regulatory environment, experience within a portfolio management office (PMO), and financial management and reporting is not essential but would be beneficial.Travel to other locations on an occasional basis forms part of the role and therefore holding a UK driving licence is beneficial.
