Responsibilities and duties of the Maintenance Manager role
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will:

Lead the maintenance department, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
*
Develop and manage the maintenance budget.
*
Oversee all procurement activities for the department.
*
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
*
Produce reports in line with company and contractual requirements.
*
Take responsibility for the maintenance of high-pressure steam raising plant.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
*
An apprentice-trained engineering background, qualified to HND level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
*
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control engineering.
*
Familiarity with welding techniques and Quality Assurance processes.
*
Experience managing a planned maintenance system and budget.
*
Knowledge of current health & safety regulations (minimum IOSH Managing Safely), CDM, and pressure systems regulations.
*
Proven experience in a supervisory maintenance role within a process industry, ideally involving high-pressure steam systems.
