More about the role:As our Production Chef you will be responsible for developing, leading and managing a motivated team with the appropriate skills to deliver exceptional service to our clients and guests. Working closely with the Production Head Chef and deputising in their absence to deliver best in class culinary experiences to all our guests throughout the venue. All whilst maintaining a key focus on HSE, food safety, our people and our budget.Support in managing variable labour in line with budgeted guidelinesEnsure menus are costed and in line with budgetEnsure food is produced in line with budgeted COS%Overseeing the preparation, cooking and service arrangements, taking responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the Production kitchen day to dayEnsure all food is prepared to required standards checking for taste, presentation and qualityEnsure compliant purchase of products and other necessary food supplies working within the agreed budgetMaintain controls to minimise food wasteAttend catering planning meetings as required (e.g., Function Sheet Meeting)Assist in the planning of menus as required ensuring menus meet highest possible standards and remain in line with budgeted costsAbout you:Proven experience in a Production Kitchen or a high volume catering environmentMethodical and organised/structuredA strong understanding of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and flavor combinations is essentialAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and maintain a clean and organized workspaceProficiency in preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality and consistencyAt Levy UK & Ireland, we take pride in fostering a workplace culture that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusion.
